Description

The monument consists of a cairn situated SW of Finnarts Hill, 240m

SW of a (scheduled) ritual enclosure on the hill's summit.

The cairn is about 8m in diameter and the capstone of cist, which contained a food vessel (found in 1944), is visible at its centre.

The area to be scheduled measures 50m in diameter, to include the

cairn and an area around in which associated remains may survive,as marked in red on the attached map.
