Again within the cairnfield area next to the Gallow Howe Boundary Stone is this Royal Observer Corp Nuclear Monitoring Bunker. In this view taken in the third week of November 2013 we are looking in a northerly direction at the above ground aspects of the bunker. On the right is the entrance hatch down into the bunker , on the left a ventilation shaft and in the centre a pole on which were mounted the monitoring instruments to record the parameters of any Nuclear Attack
