Clydach Coal Level

A Scheduled Monument in Brynmawr (Bryn-mawr), Blaenau Gwent

Clydach Colliery, Brynmawr

Uploader's Comments

Looking east, down the Clydach Gorge. The old coal levels are at the bottom right and centre of the view. The Clydach Tramroad ran along the left hand side of the gorge and the approach used by the branch line to the coal mine is now buried under the A465 road.
