The site consists of a hut circle, evidence for cultivation and an associated clearance cairn. The hut circle is defined by low peat-covered walls with some stone protruding on the NE and SW. The wall is about 1.5m wide and 0.3m high and the floor of the hut appears to be terraced into a slightly W-facing hillslope. The hut
is approximately 12m E-W by 13m N-S and has an entrance formed by a simple gap in the wall on the SSE side.
The ground around and to the W of the hut is relatively flat and smooth and has evidently been cultivated. To the W of the hut is a small cairn, about 2m in diameter and 0.3m high. This cairn is peat covered, but some stone is visible. The area to be scheduled measures 115m E-W by 60m N-S, to include the hut circle, cairn and an area around in which traces of activities associated with the construction and use of the hut may survive, as shown in red on the attached map.
