The monument consists of the remains of a chambered cairn 20m in diameter with a burial chamber at its centre. The area to be scheduled includes ground in which traces of activities associated with the construction and use of the cairn will survive and measures 40m in diameter and is bounded on the NW by, but excludes, a dyke as depicted in red on the attached map.
