The monument comprises four standing stones of prehistoric date. It is being re-scheduled to ensure adequate protection is given to the archaeological remains.
The monument lies in pasture at around 205m OD. There are four standing stones, two of them set in a pair, the others about 100m and 140m to the NW. The stones measure between 1m and 2m in height and have been roughly shaped from whinstone.
The area now to be scheduled comprises the remains described and an area around them within which related material may be expected to be found. It is divided into three; the scheduled area surrounding and including the individual standing stones is in each case circular with a diameter of 20m and that around the paired stones is rectilinear measuring 22m by 20m.
