Prehistoric cairnfield 700m south west of North Ings

A Scheduled Monument in Commondale, North Yorkshire

Part of Stone Circle on Wayworth Moor at NZ 63718 10848

Uploader's Comments

Just to the north west of the cairnfield and below a group of four round barrows there is a low lying stone circle at NZ 63718 10848 . Whilst the stones are small and difficult to pick out it may be one of the few genuine circles on the moor. Because the stones are small it is difficult to get an image of the full circle or oval as it actual is so this image taken in February 2012 just shows part of the circle
