All that remains is the medieval base It was a Wayside Cross later used as a boundary stone. It was named after Elmadus de Percy who was given large estates in Eskdale by the Conqueror. The Percy Cross Rigg track was once known as the Elmadsti , again named after Elmadus de Percy.
