Trefil Tramroad

A Scheduled Monument in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent

Trefil Tramroad, Llangynidr Moor, South Wales

Uploader's Comments

Looking north along the loop around Cwm Milgatw. The bed of the tramroad climbs steadily up the eastern side of this small valley, turns sharply to the west near the head of the valley where it is narrow and shallow then continues to climb along its north western side. An iron drainage pipe below the track bed has been exposed by erosion of the original route.
