Statement of Scheduling

Assessment of national importance

The remains of both cairns are wholly or largely obscured by extensive field clearance. The western cairn can no longer be confidently identified beneath the field clearance, while the remains of the eastern cairn are relatively slight and its character is unclear. Based on current available evidence, the site therefore does not meet the criteria for national importance and has been removed from the schedule.
