Description

The monument comprises a ring-ditch of prehistoric date, visible as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs.

The monument lies in arable farmland, at a height of around 30m OD. It comprises a circular ditch measuring approximately 11m in diameter, and probably represents the remains of a burial mound dating to the Bronze Age.

The monument is of national importance because of its potential to contribute to our understanding of burial practices in the prehistoric period. Its importance is further enhanced by its close proximity to other monuments.
