Description

The monument is a substantial standing stone, some 3m high, probably of Neolithic or Bronze Age date. It is believed to stand on its original site. It is a major local landmark.

The area proposed for scheduling measures 10m in diameter, centred on the stone, as marked in red on the attached map.
