Hunters Sty Bridge

Uploader's Comments

Medieval arch over the River Esk.
The present stone parapets and rock facing were probably added during restoration around 1874.
Canon Atkinson's book, "History of Cleveland" includes an engraving which shows the bridge as a simple stone arch with wooden rails on the sides.
