Duck Bridge

A Scheduled Monument in Danby, North Yorkshire

Duck Bridge

Uploader's Comments

This view of the Bridge was taken from down stream in the first week of October 2013 and shows stepping stones crossing the river at this point as well as the bridge and ford.I had never noticed them before on my previous visits but then again they may have been submerged.
I am now guessing that the stones were the original method of crossing the river before the bridge was built
