Southern Pind Howe round barrow on Danby Rigg, 700m east of Rock House

A Scheduled Monument in Danby, North Yorkshire

Southern Pind Howe looking towards Blakey Ridge

Uploader's Comments

This feature is not very prominent and I imagine it would be difficult to make out in the summer when the heather is growing. This view taken in early February 2013 is looking towards Blakey Ridge. The walking stick denotes the centre of the now hollowed out robbed barrow.
