I took this photo in July 2012 whilst stood at the Settlement on Crown End, Westerdale Moor. The Cairnfield is in the centre of the photo just above where the road dissects the Spur. I made my way across to investigate but with all the rain we have had over the last couple of months the vegetation has gone wild and I found it difficult when up close to make anything out, also having twisted my knee earlier in the day stumbling across the heather on Crown End decided to call it a day.
