Round barrow on Haw Rigg 550m south east of Job Cross

A Scheduled Monument in Lockwood, Redcar and Cleveland

Round Barrow or Cairn

Uploader's Comments

The Cairn is low lying and difficult to make out in the image as it blends in with the surrounding vegetation , however it stands out quite clearly when at the location itself . This view taken in the last week of October 2013 is looking north the cairn is in the centre of the picture just behind the marsh grass. The feature in the centre on the horizon is the southern round barrow at NZ 68901 10873
