Old Mulgrave Castle is an early 13th century stone enclosure fortress, founded by Peter de Maulay. It was built as a successor to nearby Foss Castle which was mentioned as ruinous by 1309.Near the centre of the enclosure are the remains of an early 14th century Keep. This photo was taken in late January 2012
