Uploader's Comments

A close up view of the Hand Stone taken in January 2011, again Round Hill is behind and to the left of the stone . The stones actual location is NZ 59431 01512 and it has a crude hand carved on the top pointing to the east Beneath the hand though now weathered and difficult to read is engraved - This way to Kirby – ( meaning Kirby Moorside). On the other side of the stone, that is the north side is engraved – This way to Stoxla – (meaning Stokesley)
