Located at the junction of Danby, Rosedale and Westerdale Parishes, White Cross(Fat Betty ) also acts as a Boundary Stone and like her namesake White Cross near Commondale on the Lockwood Beck - Castelton Road is painted white as are all Boundary stones from the Downe Estate.The Wheelhead on the cross is early Norman and is one of only two known on the Yorkshire Moors.The other one being on the top of the cross known as Roppa Cross South
