This stone has 17 cup marks as well as more recent markings. It is located at NZ 56391 17343 which is 200 metres east of the cairn and about 50 metres south east of Carr Pond . The photo was taken in the first week of February 2014

Note: This stone for all its size, 190cm x 55cm was not easy to find. The problem being, various publications and websites give incorrect grid references and gps readings for its location. Consequently I spent many fruitless hours searching in the wrong area. Even after obtaining the correct grid reference I did not find it straight away, this because it was completely overgrown and buried by the vegetation and I only found it by poking around with a walking stick. Once found I cleared away the vegetation and took the photos . No doubt it will be covered again before very long. Still with the correct grid reference it should now be easy enough to find in the future.
