Friar's Cross

Uploader's Comments

Located at the edge of a forestry track on Silver Nab above the village of Kepwick. All that remains is a medieval base with a crude stone stuck in it.It was a wayside cross for an old track that that came from the west of the moors to Rievaulx Abbey and Helmsley.
