Two round barrows and a boundary stone 800m east of Spout House Plantation

A Scheduled Monument in Bilsdale Midcable, North Yorkshire

Northern RB with Boundary Stone

Uploader's Comments

The northern barrow has a much lower profile than the southern one and if it wasn’t for the stone features it would be difficult to pick out in the photo as the heather blends everything in together. The now recumbent boundary stone known as the Hanging stone is the stone on the right. This view taken in the third week of August 2014 is looking towards the Bilsdale Transmitter which can be seen on the skyline in the centre of the picture
