Bury ring hill fort.
Small Iron age hill fort.
2 miles SW of Andover town centre.

Single 4 Metre deep ditch around the outside of a high bank, now heavily covered with ancient trees.
The bank is public access land for walking around, but the centre of the hillfort at 250 Metres diameter, is private land.

King Canute (Cnut) (995 - 1035) was the new king of England in 1016.
King Canute used the site as a military base during the Battle of Andover in 1016 (King Canute v Edmond Ironside)
