Standing Stone 100m ENE of Blaen-llyn

Large portions of a Samian Ware bowl found thanks to Mr Farmer (1993) close to coach road, Roman Fort at Capel Curig.

The farmer removed a large rock and uncovered these well preserved portions of a DR 37 Samian bowl, found in association with a pair of bronze shears and portions of cloth, these were not recovered but the Samain is now in a private collection.
