South aspect. The Tower House gets its name from its medieval tower construction more commonly found in Ireland and Scotland. It is thought that the Tower House was built in the late C14 or early C15 by the Shirburn family. remains of further buildings have been found behind the existing farm buildings. (Angle Heritage Group 2008). (Photo Oct 2010).
