Description

A high standing stone on the moor at Borgue. This is a slab rising

3.8m above the ground, pointed at its upper extremity, 1.7m broad at greatest bredth, 1m wide at base and 0.5m in thickness. It faces W by

N and E by S. The area to be scheduled measures 20m in diameter to include the standing stone and an area around in which traces of activities associated with its erection will survive, as shown in red

on the attached map.
