The monument consists of two Bronze Age cup and ring marked rocks,
each within a protective enclosure.
Within the fenced enclosure in the field known as Far New England
there is a rock face which bears at least five complete cup-and-ring markings, the largest having nine encircling rings and an overall diameter of 0.76m. An outcrop within a second enclosure in Near Windlestraw field has ten cup-and-rings, some with radial grooves.
The largest here, also of nine rings, is 0.75m in diameter.
Both of the sets of markings have been turfed over to prevent
vandalism and erosion. There are two areas to be scheduled, each a circle which measures fifteen metres in diameter, as marked in red
on the accompanying map.
