Description

This monument consists of a prehistoric hut circle located on a S-facing hill slope in a forestry plantation. The hut circle is about 10.5m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to an indeterminate width. The entrance to the hut circle is not evident, but was probably to the E or SE.

The area to be scheduled is sub-circular, measuring 32m NW-SE by about 30m SW-NE, to include the hut circle and an area around in which traces of activities associated with the construction and use of the hut circle may survive, as shown in red on the accompanying map.
