Description

L-plan; original part single storey boulder rubble with kiln,

18th century; later part squared stugged pinned rubble,

2-storey mid 19th century with sawmill in lean-to associated;

large start and awe' or starting-off wheel with double row of

iron spokes; elaborate arrangement of conduits also serving

small water turbine.
