There is no evidence of substantial disturbance, suggesting that burials will survive in good condition within and around the cairn.

The area to be scheduled encompasses the cairn and an area around it in which traces of associated activity may be expected to survive. It is a circle missing part of its N side, with a maximum cross dimension of 40m as marked in red on the accompanying map.
