Falcon Stone

Uploader's Comments

The Falcon Stone is near Longforgan on the road to Knapp. In 990 A.D. the battle of Luncarty was fought between the Scots and the Danes. The Scots won the day under Kenneth III with help from a peasent called Hay. His reward was he got all the land his Hawk could fly over. His Hawk set off from the Hawk stone near St Madeos and landed at the Falcon Stone.
