Long barrow on Beacon Hill, 160m north west of the windmill

A Scheduled Monument in Rottingdean Coastal, Brighton and Hove

Neolithic long barrow, Rottingdean. Alex Vincent.

Uploader's Comments

The Neolithic long barrow on Beacon Hill, Rottingdean is situated on the hill to the north-west of the windmill. Very little of the long barrow exists today and all that remains is a slight grassy mound. There are two Neolithic long barrows on the hill.
