Before going to look for this stone I tried to find a reference as to what it looked like so that I knew what I was looking for but I was unable to find out very little about this stone let alone an image. However I did find one reference calling this stone the Three Thumb Stone. At the location given by this website I was unable to find any stone still standing but did find at 52466 - 01682 the stone shown here now prostrate on the deck. This looks similar to other standing stones that I have seen on the moors - so is this the stone? There are a couple of other shorter stones of similar cross sectional area lying next to it. Whether they all formed one complete stone at one time it is hard to tell because if the stone was broken it has been for some time with all surfaces well weathered
