A Scheduled Monument in Sneaton, North Yorkshire

York Cross

Uploader's Comments

It is also known as Jack Cross. It is medieval in origin and will have acted as a way marker standing close by several ancient tracks which led to Whitby, one of which came from York and possibly where it got its name from. This view is looking towards Robin Hoods Bay and was taken in February 2012
