Round barrow at White Stone Crag

A Scheduled Monument in Bilsdale Midcable, North Yorkshire

Round Barrow with a View

Uploader's Comments

It is not easy to pick out the barrow in the photo because it blends in with the heather . However the stones in the photo denote where the barrow is. On site the barrow stands out to the naked eye but trying to get a decent photo is difficult all you see is a mass of heather.Regarding the barrow itself all I can say is if one had to be interred in a barrow this one would do for me with its magnificent view overlooking Scugdale.
