Brindley's Mill

A Scheduled Monument in Leek, Staffordshire

South gable, Brindley's Mill, Leek

Uploader's Comments

The 1752 water-powered corn mill is dwarfed by the sportswear factory next door. The surviving mill comprises only two thirds of the original building as the southern part of the mill was demolished in 1948 due to road widening. The south gable of the mill was rebuilt along the line of an existing internal partition wall. Photo taken 27/10/2014 from Belle Vue Road looking north.
