Site of Little Saxham Hall

A Scheduled Monument in The Saxhams, Suffolk

Site of Little Saxham Hall

Uploader's Comments

The Hall was demolished in 1773, having been built between 1505 and 1514. Apart from the moats and bridge, little evidence of the Hall remains. Some brickwork is visible on the sides of the moat and two brick pillars which would have supported the original gatehouse, can still be seen. The bridge in this photo is a later addition, probably about 1650.
