The monument consists of a settlement of unknown date, but possibly Medieval or later prehistoric. The monument consists of two sub-circular enclosures. The western enclosure is c.35m in diameter, and defined by a tumbled wall, c.2.0m wide and 0.3m high, with traces of possible buildings, curvilinear/rectilinear, attached to the south. The eastern enclosure is c.48m in diameter, and defined by a tumbled wall, c.2.0m wide an 0.3m high, with possible buildings, curvilinear/rectilinear, attached in the south.
The monument is of national importance for its potential to enhance our knowledge of settlement organisation. It retains significant archaeological potential, with a strong probability of the presence of associated archaeological features and deposits.
The scheduled area comprises the remains described and areas around them within which related evidence may be expected to survive.
