The two circles lie in an improved field just the other side of a wall from the footpath, the N circle clipped by the wall.
ME136A The site consists of a few remaining standing stones and fragments of a low bank, not as clear as the old field bank which passes close by.
ME136B The circle is almost invisible but probably one stone survives in the field wall which clips it on the E.
The monument is of national importance for its potential to enhance our knowledge of Prehistoric settlement. It retains significant archaeological potential, with a strong probability of the presence of associated archaeological features and deposits. The structures themselves may be expected to contain archaeological information concerning chronology and building techniques.
The scheduled area comprises the remains described and areas around them within which related evidence may be expected to survive.
