Earlier 19th century. Row of 2 symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay houses. Sandstone rubble blocks; dressed margins to openings, eaves course and vertical margins at arrises.
S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central panelled door with 2-pane fanlight; flanking windows. 3 1st floor windows centred above.
W ELEVATION: sandstone rubble wall adjoins No 3 with plank door. Blocked gable window to left between ground and 1st floors; 1st floor window to right. Single storey outshot to gable wall.
N ELEVATION: partially seen. 3 Halketshall 1st floor window to left. 2 Halketshall, central window (former door). Outshot to left.
E ELEVATION: replacement door and window to right; replacement 1st floor window above; plank door to rear outsthot.
Predominantly 4-pane timber sash and case windows with horns. Pitched roof; replacement red concrete pantiles. Raised skews; moulded skewputts; corniced stone left gable apex stack; replacement central and right gable apex stacks. Piended slate roof to W elevation outshot; replacement red concrete pantiles to No 2 rear outshot.
INTERIORS: not seen, 2000.
