The monument comprises a ring-ditch house of prehistoric date, visible as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs.
The monument lies in arable farmland at about 15m O.D. It comprises a ring-ditch house and measures about 13m in diameter within a narrow ditch. Ring-ditches such as these have been found on excavation to represent the remains of timber roundhouses of later prehistoric date.
The area proposed for scheduling comprises the remains described and an area around them within which related material may be expected to be found. It is circular with a diameter of 30m as marked on the accompanying map extract.
