The monument comprises the remains of two ring ditch houses of later prehistoric date represented by cropmarks visible on oblique aerial photographs.
The monument lies in arable farmland at around 30m OD. It comprises a sub-circular ring ditch of approximately 15m diameter and some 4m wide. To its E is a second ring ditch of approximately the same diameter, with a ditch some 2m wide. Darker patches inside the E ring ditch may indicate the remains of internal structural features.
These ring ditches appear to represent the remains of houses of later prehistoric date.
The area to be scheduled encompasses the visible remains and an area around them in which traces of associated activity may be expected to survive. It is bounded on the S by a modern fenceline, which is excluded from scheduling. It is semi-circular with a diameter of 90m aligned NE-SW and a cross-dimension of 45m as marked in red on the accompanying map.
